You only need a woman passing through its most fertile stage, to conduct primary in motion a man who carries it will become more aware of the presence of potential rivals, a study reveals.

An investigation with 64 men conducted by the University of Liverpool, suggests that those whose partners were ovulating at the time of the study became more sensitive to the presence of men “type dominant.”

The work entitled “evolution and Human Behavior” also indicates that those whose partner is not passed through a stage of fertility were less aware of this.

Previous studies have shown that in what may be a primary behavior and unconscious, a woman who is ovulating often tends to be attracted to dominant men.

As part of this experiment, researchers from the School of Biological Sciences of the university showed him the 64 men, all of whom were in stable heterosexual relationships, a series of photographs.

These images were from other men and were divided into two types facial: dominant and submissive.

He then asked them to rank the photos in “order of dominance”, assuming that a person would be one dominant “it seemed that everything could achieve what I wanted.”

In the end, those whose partners were going through the most fertile time of their menstrual cycle were easier to identify the types facial classics: men with square jaws, thinner lips and eyes smaller.

While those whose women were not ovulating, had more trouble separating these faces.

Preferences

Rob Burriss, one of the researchers in-chief, noted that several previous studies have shown that the preference of women for certain types of physical man varies according to their menstrual cycle.

“Other studies have concluded that women prefer men with a type of expensive high testosterone, with a jaw type Arnold Schwarzenegger for example, for a short relationship,” adds the researcher.

“They have better genes and are more likely to have children stronger,” he added.

This is because high testosterone levels create more active immune systems, that make people more resistant to disease.

On the other hand, Professor George Fieldman, Buckinghamshire Chilterns University, adds that “whether they do so consciously or not, many women are likely to feel amorous adventures with male dominant when rates are at their most fertile phase “.
